Brightsteel

Only one dwarven family knows the secret of forging Brightsteel, and the secret is a component delivered by the gods themselves. Brightsteel's brilliant chrome appearance is aesthetically pleasing, but also serves as the greatest conductor of magic in the world. Orichalchum is the go-to for most people (or brass when they can't afford orichalchum), but wealthy dwarves and a handful of elves utilize Brightsteel components on their skyships, and a few rare weapons have been made of this wondrous material, channeling intensely powerful energies.
