Biological Traits
Fiendlings are marked by one or more physical traits typically associated with fiendish animals: horns, ridges, fangs, unusual tongue, differently shaped ears, unusual face shape, small wings, tail, claws, hooves, variant skin color, unusual voice, unusual eye color, etc.
Biological Cycle
Fiendlings tend to sleep a couple hours at a time throughout the day and night. (E.g. day hours 3-4, 11-12, 19-20 and night hours 7-8 and 15-18.)

Naming Traditions
Fiendlings are prone to choose old-fashioned names, place-names, or seemingly random words. Or they might all give themselves the same name.
History
Many fiendlings prefer the upper world to life below. That alone accounts for their numerous population in the continent of Tolmiros (11% in Darago).
