The Jabberkinsie Clan
The Jabberkinsie clan is the world's most famous family of chroniclers and storytellers. They are known far and wide for their tales of adventuring exploits and great, noble deeds. In more recent years, some have made their fame through the publication of novels across all genres. Most notably, Halster Jabberkinsie is the author of the Foenia Best-selling "Traitor of Time" series.
Structure
With few exceptions, the Jabberkinsie clan determines who in the family holds greatest influence by the number of readers or listeners their stories, songs or publications have gathered in recent months. Exactly how they gather this information is largely unknown, however disputes regarding these numbers are exceedingly rare.
Most Jabberkinsies begin their careers as travelling bards and storytellers, gathering crowds around fireplaces at taverns, or wayward adventurer's campfires. Often, upon discovering that a Jabberkinsie is in their presence, an adventuring troupe will ask them to tag along, knowing that a Jabberkinsie is a lucky friend to have.

Jabberkinsies are known far and wide to seek out adventures and adventurers to follow and record. They see every loose thread, every unanswered question, every incomplete narrative as an adventure waiting to happen. There is a long recorded history of Jabberkinsies recording successful adventures, from liberating long-oppressed people to slaying great and powerful undead threatening to destroy the world. As such, it's believed that being accompanied by a Jabberkinsie is a very lucky thing.
Public Agenda
The Jabberkinsie clan oversees the world's foremost magic academy, the Jabberkinsie Institute of the Arcane. They provide magical education to some of the most hard-working and talented magic users in the world, and often produce magical breakthroughs for the benefit of all.
