Toriel Village Community Board

Job Boards (AKA Mission Boards or Quest Boards) are places in a city or town where people or businesses can post want ads for work they need done that they can't staff themselves. These tasks range from bounty hunting to gathering materials and making deliveries.
Bounty hunting notably comes with a ranking system to declare the perceived difficulty of the quarry:

• Blue Sky - Easier jobs for beginner adventurers or those who just need to make a quick buck. Mostly low level monster hunting and parts collection. (Tier 1 or CR 0-5) CRx40 base gold
• Gray Sky - Intermediate bounties. Bigger monsters and criminals wanted, dead or alive, who are too dangerous for regular guards or soldiers to capture. (Tier 2 or CR 6-10) CRx50 base gold
• Red Sky - Advanced targets. For boss monsters or threats to the realm that are wanted dead because they're to dangerous to be kept in live custody. (Tier 3 or CR 11-15) CRx60 base gold
• Black Sky - These bounties are mostly just warnings for adventurers to avoid. They have the biggest payouts, but pose the greatest danger the land has to offer. (Tier 4 or CR 16 and above) CRx80 base gold

Quests

Missing Person: Selina Catar

My daughter, Selina, went out hunting for the pelt of a Tiger seen in the thick forest outside of town. She was following its tracks South, towards the river when she got separated from her hunting party and went missing. All but one of the rest of the party were slaughtered by the tiger.
Please save my daughter, or bring back that beast's pelt as vengence.
320gp and a magic shield.
DM Note: The fur trader, Raja (early 50s), has the following information:

• The surviving hunter, Clayton, lives alone on the south side of the village (Raja directs the party to Clayton's house)
• Selina spent her youth in the woods on the edge of town, and she's been helping me hunt furs since she was a teenager. Recently I've hung up my crossbow and hired a hunting party to go with her instead, but she would often go on solo hunts for days at a time. 
• The shield was given to my great great grandfather, who was a knight in service to the King of Kiltarra. It has magical healing properties and I would've officially given it to Selina for her 21st birthday next year. I lent it to her early to keep her safe on this hunt.

The hunter, Clayton(late 30s), has the following information:

• The hunting party hiked through the brush about 2 days Southeast, and just crossed the river when the beast struck. It was bigger and faster than any tiger I'd ever seen. 3 men killed or mortally wounded when Selina dashed off further into the woods spouting something like "spare them". I picked up what i could and came back to the village
• There's a cave due East of the riverbend where we crossed. If the tiger's den is nearby, it's probably there.
• SECRET: Clayton is lying about who killed the hunting party, but truthefully doesn't know where Selina is or what happened with the tiger.

Once the party reach the cave, they are confronted by a larger than average tiger with blood wetting its jaw. It darts into the darkness of the cave where it joins another already inside. In the back of the cave, on the ground, rests a metal shield formed by silvery feathered wings wrapping around a golden heart symbol with a three pointed image of a crown cresting the top.
The two will abush the party and fight for up to one round as tigers before shape-shifting into a pair of weretigers. At this time, Clayton also appears and grabs the shield (but will try to kill whoever looks the most wounded, tiger or adventurer).
If one of the weretigers is killed/knocked unconscious/brought near death, or the party mentions out loud that they were sent by Raja or are looking for Selina, the weretigers will stop and shapeshift into their human forms to reveal Selina and another young woman, Felicia.

• Felicia and Selina are lovers who met and started seeing each other in secret years ago when Selina was hunting alone. Felicia accidentally turned Selina on a full moon and helped her through her first transformation.
• They'd hoped to fake Selina's death and lie low for a while before running away together, but then Clayton started killing the other hunting party members 
• Selina overheard her father speaking to Clayton about giving him her hand in marriage as well as the fur trade, and decided to make her escape on the next hunt
• Selina will willingly give the party her family's shield if they promise not to force her to go back

Raja will pay the party for closure about his daughter and let them keep the shield.

• He did not know about Selina's condition
• He was never going to give Clayton his daughter or his business as those decisions were her's as his chosen sucessor
