Metalhead

Tortle Power...

Metalhead is a tortle shaped warforged created by the ninja tortle Donnie in an effort to ad a fifth member to the team. This backfired though as something about the Attitude City sewers caused him to go rogue.   When the players catch up to him, he's robbed the local ninja supply store and is in hiding. Metalhead can be encountered one of two ways; If the PCs explore the sewers and enter the hidden chamber behind the hidden chamber in the eastern part of the map, they will find him among his stolen goods. Otherwise, he will be hunted down by the PCs after they join forces with the ninja tortles.

Stats

Metalhead's stats are all just a little bit better that the tortles, although he lacks their unique weapons.
  • AC= 18 (Natural Armor)
  • HP= 100
  • Spd= 40'
  • STR= 12 (+3)
  • DEX= 19 (+6)
  • CON= 16 (+5)
  • INT= 15 (+4)
  • WIS= 12(+3)
  • CHA= 12 (+3)
Saving Throws: Dex +6, Int +8 Skills Acrobatics: +6, Deception +3, Perception +6, Stealth +7 Languages: Aquan, Common Challenge: 9  

Actions

Metalhead can use multiattack to make three attack actions on his turn. He is proficient in all martial and simple weapons.
  • Double Punch. 2 Melee Weapon Attacks: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.
  • Side Kick (Recharge 1). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit: (2d8+4) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the target must make a DC 15 Con save or be thrown 5 ft. back and knocked prone.
  • Ninja Kunai. Ranged Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: (1d8 + 4) piercing damage.
  • Shuriken. 3 Ranged Weapon Attacks: +8 to hit, reach 20/60 ft., up to three targets. Hit: (1d4 + 4) piercing damage ea.
  • Disengage. Metalhead jumps up to half his total movement distance in a straight line back and or up, without provoking opportunity attacks.
 
Once defeated, Metalhead will deactivate. The players are then free to clear the tortles' names and turn him (and his stolen ninja tools) over to Ninja Brian, who will reward them with a total of 12.0.0gp. and half off any (one) item in the store. The players are also free to pocket up to 3 total shuriken and kunai (ea.) before Brian would notice and reduce the bounty to 10.0.0gp. unless they can pass a DC 13 deception check.
