Kay Vantas

A female Dark Elf Monk and member of SubtraCo. Kay has greyish purple skin with short spikey white hair thats longer on the left side. She wears a dark blue gi that fits somewhat losely over most of her body, but is wraped tightly around her forearms and shins. During the day, she also dons tinted goggles that protect her eyes from the harsh light (curtesy of Prof. Von Drake)   Kay is an Outworlder hailing from Faerun. Facing heavy discrimination in her old world, she bears no resentment or regrets about being randomly warped to Kwilterra.

Challenge 5 Proficiency Bonus +4   Fey Ancestry. Kay has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can't put her to sleep.   Stillness of Mind. Kay can use her action to end one effect on herself that is causing her to be charmed or frightened.   Purity of Body. Kay's mastery of the ki flowing through her makes her immune to disease and poison.   Innate Spellcasting. Kay's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 11). She can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

1/day each: darkness, faerie fire, levitate (self only)   Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight and not wearing her tinted goggles, Kay has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Perception checks that rely on sight.   Unarmored Movement. Kay can move along vertical surfaces and across liquids on her turn without falling during the move.   Patient Defense. Kay can sacrifice 2 melee attacks to take the Dodge action as a bonus action on her turn.   Step of the Wind. Kay can sacrifice 2 melee attacks to take the Disengage or Dash action as a bonus action on her turn, and her jump distance is doubled for the turn.   Evasion. When Kay is subjected to an effect that allows her to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if she succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if she fails.  
Actions
Multiattack. Kay makes 4 melee attacks.   Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage.   Unarmed Strike. Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage.  
Reactions
Parry. Kay adds 3 to her AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, she must see the attacker.   Deflect Missiles. Kay can use her reaction to deflect or catch the missile when she is hit by a ranged weapon attack. The damage she takes from the attack is reduced by 1d 10 + 15. If she reduces the damage to 0, she can catch the missile if it is small enough for her to hold in one hand and she has at least one hand free. If she catches a missile in this way, she can make a ranged attack (range 20 feet/60 feet) with the weapon or piece of ammunition she just caught, as part of the same reaction. She makes this attack with proficiency, regardless of your weapon proficiencies, and the missile counts as a monk weapon for the attack.
