Hyrte Gyldenvold

Feared by the common folk and a mention of her name enough to make any adventurer groan, Hyrte "The Queen of Might" is a large, mean murder-machine who wreaks havoc wherever her band of misfits shows up. Stronger and fatter than most men, Hyrte can beat most who challenge her to a pure fist fight, so few bother. She also has a habit of surviving any loss or defeat, to her detractors great annoyance.
Her actions are loud, but her voice is even louder. And her footsteps louder still. Two long and thick braids of her dark blonde hair are fitted with small bronze medallions for every champion she has beaten, making them heavy enough to wield as weapons.
Honor is one of many things Hyrte lacks, like an inside voice or respects for other people's things, so one can often find her swooping in to take the bounty once a group of adventurers have done all the hard work. She also tends towards chaos, the wild anarchy of a battle with no order her forte. And where she feels at home.
Hyrte was born to a noble family, but as this family collapsed, Hyrte used her wealth, might and unstoppable will to build a large band of thieves and mercenaries. Members of her band can be found across most of Kvarend.
Hyrte recently finished the construction of her hideout, Hyrte's Lair. This large and bombastick wooden stronghold reflects its owner well, and features a large, not very subtle sign and a ferris wheel driven by a waterfall.
Hyrte wears mostly leater armor, but has some bronze pieces like on her shoudlers and legs. The design is similar to a mix of germanic and gealic.
She always carries around a great two-headed waraxe that most mortals would not be strong enough to lift, let alone swing. The top features the emblem of her family, a winged unicorn.
For most Hyrte is the cause of all problems. Some, however, see her as a solution. Sometimes what one needs is a brash, self-centered, lawless crook to exact one's terrible plans.
