Heart of Kaelthar

Pulled still-beating from the chest cavity of the Boneharvester Alpha, Kaelthar’s Heart is an obsidian-black organ pulsing with dark amber veins. It radiates warmth and primal hunger, housed in a fleshy cocoon of saurian muscle and bone. Though it no longer beats for its original host, it still lives—and it wants a new one. A necromancer or dark priest might pay handsomely for it—or offer to graft its power into a willing subject… at a cost.
