Dr. Birkin's Origins - Booty

William Birkin, current head of Revenant Saints faction, hails from the capital city of Noica-Givan to the north. After a house fire placed both his parents in the hospital, eventually dying from infection, William was driven into medical research. Birkin studied medicine and engineering at Forleigh Academy, working simultaneously on two separate doctorates. Even though he was a brilliant student, he was expelled for unsanctioned practices and experimentation. He was studying the concepts of gene splicing, utilizing the best aspects of unique species to enhance human abilities such as strength, speed, healing, and defensive capabilities. He was caught attempting to transplant a sample of troll liver into an orphan who suffered from Sickle Cell Anemia.
On top of his expulsion from the Academy, Birkin was additionally sentenced to ten years of incarceration for his crimes against humanity. During his time behind bars, William made several contacts that he utilized after he was released. One such contact provided him with sufficient funding and privacy to accomplish several advancements in medicine and technology that he had been working on in secret for years. His medical advancements were so effective in the field that his initial crimes were overlooked and he was invited back to the capital city to serve the royal family. Due to his disgraceful exit and ruined reputation, Dr. William Birkin refused all offers and continued to work with his initial benefactor, Michael Malvadore, commonly referred to as The Viscount. Dr. William Birkin continues to work in private in Trade City for Wesker Industries and remains loyal to his benefactor.
