Kohsen
The true origin of this human like species is unknown, shrouded in myths and legends, however it is believed they originated in the land now known as Kosseryn. Kosseryn, a brilliant utopia, is almost entirely populated by the Kohsen. They do not involve themselves in foreign problems, and despite having a good relationship with the rest of Ku'Eza, they are entirely self-reliant and self-sufficient. While not all Kohsen come from Kosserryn, seeing a pureblood Kosseryn is so rare everywhere else that most people's first question is usually "Why'd you leave?"
Kohsen are usually described as beautiful, or otherworldly, due to the light that eminates from their birthmarks. All Kohsen carry light within them that shinnes through their birthmarks, the color of the light is the only way to know the source
Basic Information
Anatomy
Most people immediately think of Kohsen as brown skinned human looking creatures with glowing marks, but within the utopia of Kosserryn, one would see Kohsen that look like dwarves, elves, possibly even beastfolk.
Genetics and Reproduction
Kohsen reproduce the same way humans do, though when a child is ready to be born, their mother becomes enveloped in a warm, comforting light, and when the light fades the child is in her arms, the mother's body now healed not only of any changes made by the pregnancy, but also any injuries.
Growth Rate & Stages
Kohsen reach adult maturity after twenty five years, and then their bodies oftentimes begin to age slower. Of the many mysteries of the Kohsen people, their aging process is unknown even to other Gunaya (long-lived) species. There is no historical documentation to indicate the natural life cycle of Kohsen. In fact, the only place that could have information like that, would likely never share it, as is the ways of the Kosserryn Empire.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
All Kohsen carry magical power given to them by one of the planetary lights. This power manifests as glowing birthmarks, the color of the mark represents the light that chose them. They see fully and completely in darkness, and have an affinity for natural magics. As they grow into adulthood and their gifts, they are able to understand and speak fluently the languages of the celestials, the demons, and the devils.
