The people of Ku'Eza have not forgotten the terror of the first blood hunters, who were slaves to their hag-mother's whims. They are often wary of them, since some still serve hags. The alchemy needed by Blood Hunters is not a kind that is usually practiced or performed outside of their circles. Seeing a Blood Hunter in town is considered a bad omen, as it means there are likely monsters nearby, truly frightening ones.
