Thorlock Missing

Raistlin received word from the tower that a fellow red robe, that of Travok's father Thorlock has gone missing. After passing on the info he learned to the tower He was sent on an important mission to the north to locate the Black robe druids. He seemingly never made contact.
The black robe druids actively work against Chemosh, the god of death. They maintain the passage of life into death via the gates into the Astral Plane, Abyss, and rumors hold even the Grey.
Chemosh encourages souls to give up to destiny and fate. Chemosh disdains life, feeling that it is wasted on the people of Krynn. He prefers to promise "immortality" by making souls into undead rather than letting them pass into the afterlife
After The Dark Queens return. Many black robe druids went rouge, charmed by Takhisis's seductive whispers. The fell prey to the urge for power that Chemosh offers. These rouges now worship Chemosh himself, and work to become Liches. They use powerful necromancy and Dark magic to aid the Dark Queen in her assault on Krynn. These rouges rumors hold, travels in secret to small villages and convert the populace to add to their ever growing undead army. 
Raistlin was instructed to find Thorlock and assist him in any way he can. Raistlin, torn between his allegiance to the Inquisition and the Towers, the party asked him to find Thorlock.
He decided to stay at Orthanc to set a teleportation circle and study the knowledge left by the towers previous occupier, a black robe named Dalamar and then set out in a weeks time.
