New Ports

New Ports, until recently a town of over 3,000 residents, is fractured in its organization. There are a number of different guilds in the city that each claim to have a “captain” and a “crew.” There is no central authority, and each guild maintains a number of homes within its section of the city. Each guild barters with the others for its needs. This makes it difficult for New Ports to respond as a city to any outside threats, as each guild is primarily concerned with its own welfare.
The town is occupied by the Red Dragonarmy. Many of its residents have been rounded up and shipped south to work as slaves in the mines of Pax Tharkas. Others remain in the ruined town, forced to work the port as it becomes an important supply center for the invaders.
