Explore the Dark tower of Tears

The party decided to explore the ruined tower of tears, after a shockingly easy fight with some poor harpies, brief time in the shadow plane and receiving a strange but seemingly powerful deck, they discover and secret entrance to the basement.
Quest 1 We take up Ansel's request to head to an unexplored tower northeast of Tarsis. Ansel has heard stories in Thorbardin of adventures going missing. It is called the tower of Tears, also known as Tower of Torath before cataclysm. Center built by dwarves craftsmen and with the help of elves. Center channels hot springs but now ruins. Waters there are now poisonous. Unknown of poison is airborne.
Tower of tears and The shadow tower portal Cathal and Ansel, phasing to the shadow realm with the help of his ring,  go into the tower.This place is shifty and wild, a maze finally leading to the seemingly final room, glowing in red. daisA tempting and powerful item is obtained, a spicy deck of things.

The tower is ripped back to the main realm. The party opened a chest and when opened noticed that the bottom kept going down. Turns out that it leads to a secret area below the tower.
Down below the now named tower of Orthanc, The party finds the beautiful Spider Queen Lúthien, and through Cathal's natural attunement to spiders, befriended her. As a request, she sent them on a quest to slay the bane of all spiders. This took them into the portal at the bottom of the cave system, a tear in reality to the Plain of Fire. The Inquisition encountered their foe, a giant Devil Basilisk, in pitched battle with Multiple Fire giants. The battlefield strewn with stone corpses, and looking ill for the giants, the Inquisition sprang into action. After a fierce battle, The Devils Basilisk was slain. The party found new allies and a new quest from the chief of  Fire Giants they had saved, Lord Ragnar. Their foe slain, they returned to the spider queen triumphant. New items in hand, they set out on their quest to save a king, in the lands far east.
