Griseaxe Village
A small village on the western plains of Kryalon. The village is governed by Chief Rom'im Forma, who strives to maintain natural balance. The settlement is well located to gain resources from the Vast Entwoods, Caribou Pass, and Leauraz River, which are all within a few days travel. Griseaxians also built the Forager's Point outpost, which hunters use as a resting point on their journey to the Vast Entwoods.
Demographics
The population is primarily orcs and half-orcs, who vary in profession and keep the village mostly self-sufficient. A large proportion of the population are hunters, making use of their close proximity to the river and woods.
Industry & Trade
The village mainly exports leather, meats, and crops to nearby towns.
Infrastructure
The village's buildings are mainly wooden, with leather used to waterproof the rooves.
History
Recently, the Rayures Clan seemed to be provoking racist clashes between orcs and humans. This has lead to a decrease in travellers to Griseaxe, which has not really impacted the village much as the people lead a quiet lifestyle anyway. The main problem, however, is that they are getting a violent reputation due to the clashes, which makes them the target of potential racism if they leave the village.
