a kingdom of the dead in the most literal sense. These lands result from an attempted colonization that failed so drastically because of the corruption in these lands. The crystalized magic was corrupted to its core, black and green and emanating sickly magic. The people died, and the only survivor could hardly be called that. The Son of the Holy One, meant to take his throne one day, used the corrupted magic to turn himself into an abomination. The Clockwork Lich, a undead creature of mechanical and undead nature, in order to survive on the strange continent. Since then he has built an empire of the reanimated, using clockwork and necromancy to raise armies of unfeeling and unstoppable undead. He has made the land far more livable with cities for the living to visit and work in, though the upper class remains mostly intelligent undead. Here the land is particularly lethal, seeped in death magic. The plants and animals are all hostile to life, and only the truly foolhardy come here.
