The Heresy of Medicine

The Golden Lands pressure all to see that the great light of the Holy One and the Clockwork Sun are the only light to be followed. Because of this, the only healing officially endorsed by the church is the magical healing of the clerics that follow the suns and/or the holy one. Potions, being extensions of magic, are endorsed as well. However, alchemical medicines and other sciences are seen as heresy and witchcraft.
