The Destruction of Kingdoms

The Shattering destroyed most of the world's civilization. Technology fell to the wayside and the world is barely recovering from its events, let alone the ferocious and strange monster attacks that constantly occur throughout the frontier lands. Most notably, the Golden Lands hold the most power within this terrible moment, and everywhere else (colloquially called "The Frontier") barely holds on against monster attacks and a lack of any unified government. The major state of each kingdom is as follows:
The Taketa Dynasty- Destroyed, nothing of it remains as the destruction of the Monoliths and the Shattering ruined what kingdom was there. What remains is desolate wasteland, and what small towns and pockets of civilization hold onto ancient beliefs and gods.
The Pirate Kingdoms- Simply fell apart after the shattering. Monsters, a lack of desire to work together, and other factors dissolved what little remained of this "kingdom" in short time.
The Dwarven and Elven Kingdoms- Dissolved, absorbed into the Golden Lands or the Frontier. The elves have lost most of their culture because of this, with only one major elven city remaining and the dwarves have escaped to their underground capital, reclusive towards the surface.
The Duchy of Free Merchants- Also destroyed, nothing left but pockets of civilization and frontier-land.
Markevia- Stands, barely, as a bastion of safety in the wild untamed land.
The Golden Lands- While rocked by the shattering, the lands themselves still hold some semblance of peace and order in their golden mechanical cities.
