Of Elves and Dwarves

The elves merged with the Golden Lands, losing much of their culture in the process. Eventually they resurged, finding their lost selves and pushing for better living for all races. Its worked so far, and those elves who still live in what was once the elven kingdom do what they can to give all people of all walks of life better living. Some elves still hold their aloofness, believing themselves better for having seen the shattering themselves. Few are like this now, and their numbers dwindle yearly.

The Dwarves fled into the underground, nearly wiped out by monsters and the Golden Lands. Now the ancient city of Stonewall is their only refuge, a city with walls of stone above ground but a deep and ancient spread of tunnels and caverns below that houses the dwarf race. Others are allowed in, though the dwarves are weary of outsiders and surface dwellers.
