Markevia

The only "Free city" within the frontier, Markevia was once a technological wonder, a powerhouse of neutrality and free will. Now it is a bastion, a walled fortress city that keeps the monsters of the night and day at bay. Only some are allowed in, and those that do are sworn to protect their city at all cost. Much like the Golden Lands, technology here flourishes and without the exploitation and religious crackdown of the Golden Lands. However, the city is protective of itself after so much conflict and strives to only allow those who can better the city inside.
