The Red Riders

The most vicious riders in the west.

Overview

The Red Riders are one of the most feared gangs on the frontier. Named because of their tendency to paint their mounts and vehicles red with the blood of those they kill, this gang focuses on robbing, killing and stealing. They have no qualms who they kill or steal from, though they do have enemies they enjoy killing more.

History

The Red Riders were formed when Olivia Vanderbelt broke out of prison with a group of inmates destined to be hanged. They slaughtered the guards, stole their steam bikes, and set off. Since then the gang has grown into nearly sixty strong, all bloodthirsty murderers. Olivia has no personal drive beyond money and a sick desire for violence, but she has recently been drawn into a war with Grag Neck-slicer (a particularly rancid goblin with his own gang) that has been driving her violence more.

Structure

The Red Riders don't have much of a structure to them, just listening to Olivia and killing and robbing anyone in their way. Any Rider could end up shot by another for anything but when Olivia speaks, everyone listens.

Crimes

The Red Riders prefer to rob banks, trains and airships using monstrous mounts and steam bikes (and an airship they commandeered) to transport themselves and often intimidate enemies. They are known for robbing all the passengers or customers and then killing them all right as it looks like they'll be allowed to leave.

Olivia Vanderbelt

Olivia Vanderbelt is the leader of the Red Riders. She has a 60 million gold bounty on her head and is most known for forcing an entire town to gun their own children down before feeding the parents to her pet wyvern. She uses two black powder revolvers and enjoys shooting with the intention of making her foes bleed to death rather then killing them quickly.
