Class Relations

In the city of Kroy'wen, the gods truly reign supreme as they have for countless years. Humans, who were considered the lowest of the low, were and still are considered to be servants of the gods. They are to carry out the wills of their gods to keep them happy and keep the gods in their favor. It is lesser known by humans and mainly known by the gods themselves and some vampires that the gods are fueled by the belief given to them through humans. Out of fear of fading away, the gods keep a tight grip on the humans, either using fear, punishment or rewards as a means of keeping them subservient. The masks are a sign of this. Despite being ingrained in everyday society, the masks show which god a person is tied to, thus making their devotion more evident. Despite there being little to no mobility within the human class, blessings can be bestowed upon humans who are considered favorites of the gods. The blessings allow for humans to enter the domain of the gods, under super vision and result in a human being seen as a higher follower, but they are still very clearly still below both vampires and gods. To Vampires, the humans are either considered a snack or those who are easily manipulated. Humans are good for resources, especially when it comes to those who have blessings.
The dynamic between vampires and the gods are a lot more complex. Vampires do not expire as easy as humans, but do not hold as much power as a god. This results in a tense relationship between vampires and gods. Recently, due to vampire activity within Kroy'wen, the gods have begun to pay a little bit more attention to the vampires. Unfortunately, due to the usual conflicts between the gods themselves, the Gods have missed a very important detail. The vampires, specifically, the ones being led by Dracula have decided to climb the ranks of the gods. Unhappy with the state of the world and with a thirst for power and change, the vampires have slowly begun to band together and search for ways to upset the current balance of power. Dracula specifically is at the head of this movement. Using manipulation and forming alliances with powerful people, Dracula has set out to drain the gods of their power so the world can be dyed in eternal night and Vampires will reign supreme.
