Asgard, the Hidden Realm of the Nords

One of the Hidden Realms of the Gods belonging to the Norse Gods, often referred to as Asgard. Though it can be accessed at many points, only Norse gods or those deemed worthy by them can enter. The realm itself takes the form of a great sprawling citadel with castles and palaces made of platinum, gold, and bronze. Many Norse gods rule from this citadel, often focusing more on their inner conflicts and rivals within their own realms rather than the threat of gods or heretics beneath them.

Government

The gods dictate all that there is to dictate in Asgard, and determine who goes where and who can do what. Every follower of a god granted to be in Asgard listens to every whim and request of the gods, building for them streets and towers of gold without batting an eye or raising a single question or concern. Regardless, the Norse gods make sure to take care of their own and always make sure they're well fed and have enough drink in their cups.

Defences

Asgard is heavily fortified and often employs warriors of the divine to guard the streets of the citadel, making it extremely difficult to be incur the wrath of the gods within and make it out alive. Despite the aggressive attitudes that most of its denizens have on though, the Asgardians sure do throw wild ragers and parties to those who are welcome, and often celebrate their glory together just as often as they butt heads together. A brawl can break out at any given moment, even during a party, and even a party can break out in the middle of a brawl.
