Witch Hunter

Deep in the forests of Krotera lives beings of evil, called witches. Creatures of dark magic, who seek dark magic. So from the villages suffering from these beings, comes witch hunters. Warriors who have dedicated their life to hunting and killing these dark creatures. Just like bounty hunters, these warriors will accept contracts set on a target they will then hunt, kill and be rewarded for killing. The difference between the bounty hunter and the witch hunter is that where bounty hunters rarely care what the target is, the witch hunters will often only hunt dark creatures.

The exact number of how many witch hunters are out there is unknown. But the number is slowly rising, due to the threat of Mala and her things. Many of these witch hunters will dedicate their life to fight Mala. Maybe because one of her things has killed one of their loved ones. Maybe because they fear what she will become if she is not held back, or maybe it is a completely different reason. But what most of these witch hunters have in common with each other is that nearly all of them will hunt within Fadiro forest.

Weaponry

The weapon a witch hunter will use depends a lot on the individual. But oftentimes ranged weapons are prefered, due to a lot of the dark monsters having longer reach than normal human arms. One weapon all great witch hunters have, is the witch hunter gun as most call it. It was a weapon invented long ago by a witch hunter. It doesn't really do much damage, instead it stunned an enemy, by firing a special mixture of different powders after a target, blinding nearly all senses. Making it easy for the witch hunter to hit with a deadly slash by their other weapon.

Tactics

The difference between a good and a bad witch hunter is how they hunt. What tactics they use to take down a target. Oftentimes the good ones are the ones with low morals, who will not hesitate to use cruel means to take down a target.

Training

Most witch hunters are by themselves, and not under any kind of group. And therefore they rarely have anyone to train them. That said, most still have a military background, where they will have learned how to fight and survive. Those who go into witch hunting with no experience in fighting often die very fast.
