Keambiroiro: Numen of the Underworld - also representative of the seemingly endless desert beyond the mountains as well as the endless obsidian desert of the Cursed Coast.

Beliefs

A modest god by the name of Khouo oversees most activity on the world and favors his followers far before anyone else. He despises pride as well as liars. He often has a generous path in life planned for each loyal follower, but allows each to their own free will as well. Violence is sometimes necessary to get one's way.

Founding

The Podrusan Pantheon was founded in legend, as many primitive pantheons go. Of course, its origins are widely unknown and unlikely to be attributed to any single "founder". However, the countries which came to be run by the warrior-king Sills often perpetuated the religion the most, and often were places where ones could find out the real facts of stories and legends.

History

The Podrusan Pantheon was upheld as the state religion of the Podrusan Empie when it spread across the southern regions next to the Cursed Coast. It played its role primarily for rituals, deities, and mythology spread amongst the people. The Podrusan Empire found stability through this widely accepted religion, and so was able to last unopposed for a long time. However, the Southern Pantheon's undoing was the rise of an opposing religion.
Zemourism, founded under the Zahretian Caliphate, spread in opposition quite quickly and displaced many of the Southern Pantheon followers. With the fall of the Podrusan Empire, there was little to maintain the religion apart from a few neighboring nations which sought to carry on the pantheon's legacy. As a result, these legacy nations fought at length against the growing Zahretian Caliphate.

Enforcement

There was little real enforcement of the Podrusan Pantheon. No such inquisitions or anything were led against the populations of any region. Being neighbor to the Cursed Coast - a place of many haunts and many foreign concepts, the Podrusan Pantheon was not incredibly forceful of its beliefs. To the Podrusans, there are many ways one could be rationalized to be a follower of Khouo, regardless of their beliefs.
