History

The Podrusan Empire began with the unification of hundreds of clans and tribes under the peerless leadership of Sill Saleh of Fidas, who earned himself the title of Kubwasill, or Megasill as it is known in Aetian and Ghiskan. His coronation as one to lead all Podrusans immediately sparked a rebellion in Isgodon, a northern region which would never be reclaimed by the Podrusans.   Kubwasill Saleh would lead the rest of the Empire well, and was beloved by the people. He was succeeded by his son Saleh II and thus spawned a royal line many still cling to.   In 179 AR, a great rebellion rose against the Podrusan Empire and proclaimed a new rival state called Fasjades centered in the city of Izat. The rise of Fasjades caused one of the rare civil wars between Podrusan people, and resulted in the new Kingdom's independence and the loss of title of Kubwasill for the Podrusan royalty.   Until their final demise to the Zahretian Caliphate in 252 AR, the Podrusan Empire would slowly lose regional power over the surrounding areas. In 190 AR, Podrusa had a brief revival under Queen Riska I. She mustered an army and fought back against Linsan, Monha, and Fasjades. However, her passing in 226 AR led to a continuation of decline. Her successor King Jerem was the last to reign.
