Olla

In 144, the city of Olla split from its overlord Neo Poscaia. In short time they organized the local region in hopes for a new state, like many others that broke away that same year. Unfortunately Olla did not last long and was conquered by neighboring state of Russus, which in turn was conquered Aomekion and incorporated into their empire. Olla was later freed from Aomekion, almost against the people's will, by Morosia.

Reemergence and "Freedom" under the Morosian Empire

In 482 AR Morosia "Freed" Olla after winning a war with Aomekion. They thus exerted influence and sent in diplomats to placate the new regime, but Olla did not see things their way.   Over the next century, Morosia interacted with Olla in such a way as to make Olla feel indebted to them - just as Morosia had done with Sria. However, the tables were quickly turned. In 488 AR, native Poscaean-Aomeki courtier Akroxeres staged a popular uprising in the form of a coup, and took over reigning the state from the Morosian appointed Jeremius. He took the name Athrabasan after their first leader, and continued to reign under the guise that he was Jeremius' appointed successor.   As Morosia continued to interact and interfere with affairs, the Ollan regime continued to demand goods and favors as "assistance" in maintaining the country. Morosia readily complied, believing this to further in-debt Olla so that they may eventually be peacefully annexed. Olla received a plethora of exotic goods, as well as several peace-keeping armies, and it was true that Baller and Gabenian warriors would often cross the borders to capture the capital city of Baller civilization: Balan. Several times Morosia sent armies to suppress these incursions, and when these armies completed their task, Olla quickly cut them off from contact, and assimilated the army into the hidden military structure of the state. By the time Baisaan II succeeded Lord Androkal as Lord of the Realm, he had an extensive military, all well trained. Together with some allies from Cana he ceased friendly relations with Morosia in 558 AR. The Morosian Royalty was rather confused, and did not act immediately, as they had more to worry about with civil wars on the rise. When Morosia got around to interacting with Olla, they sent three legions as an invasion force. The invasion lasted 4 long years until Olla was able to separately entrap and defeat each one. Only part of one legion made it back to Morosia, the rest were eradicated. Morosia, seeing more of a challenge than necessary, guaranteed Olla its own rightful territory, and so ceased hostilities.
Olla maintained its borders for over 400 years
