Chiefdom of Regala 150 BR - 288 AR

History

Regala was among the earliest of the Kholams to establish a centralized government. Ruling as a chiefdom, it operated strategically as a buffer between Amphera's colonies and the Kholamic tribes further inland. In 218 AR, Morosian emissaries arrived at this barbarian capital, demanding military passage rights. The Regalan King spit on them - literally.
In 288 AR, Morosian landholder Cracer Manorion led an expedition using a private army against the entire domain of Regala in the name of Morosia. The conquest was swift. Military personnel that survived the entire ordeal were enlisted in Manorion's army, as he continued on to Inzburg.
In 800 AR, this region was invaded by the Ailesians - a peoples of mixed origins. They then used the old capital of Regala to raid extensively throughout the rest of the weakly defended Morosian provinces, inspiring many leaders to declare independence from Morosia in an effort to defend more efficiently.
