Dune Dolphins live thogether with a group which usually consists of thier family, friends and sometimes other families within a burrow of varring complexity excavated by a either a single or a group of Tortoise.

Social Structure
Dune Dolphins are very sociable creatures that often live in groups in excess of a twenty, although groups as large as one thousand can under form under favorable circumstances. These super groups however are often temporary as membership is not ridged and interchange is common. Dune Dolphins can, however, establish strong social bonds. Yet, family ties and partner usualy trances group membership.
Conservation Status
Under Nefadric Law Dune Dolphins are, as much of the Nature within the Atoll, protected and even infraction of thier habitat is a punishable offence. This is due to the fame and even quasi saint hood Dune Dolphins enjoy, due to thier abitity to locate various useful herbs. This is further supported by the joyous and supportive nature of the Dune Dolphins.
