The Krudner Civil War
A bloody war in which the Duke Talfurk Gotryk and allies fought against the King of Krudner in a dispute over land. A war that brought about many military and social reforms, it is a very influential war. It also brought about several other vassal rebellions against their lords, though most failed.
The Conflict
Prelude
Talfurk had once owned the lands of Vannel Friggin and it was his father's life work, it was taken from him as a punishment for a crushing defeat he suffered at the hands of a Human lord. After defeating the Human lord in a second battle Talfurk requested that the land be returned to him, because he had wiped the dishonor from his name. The King of Kudner refused stating it mattered little. Infuriated Talfurk declared a vicious Grudge against the King saying that until Vannel Friggin was back under his control Talfurk would raise his flag in rebellion. Thus the war began.
Deployment
The allies of Duke Talfurk Gotryk occupied the valley with relative ease and facing no resistance from the local populace. The King of Riknor Krudner gathered his armies and marched into the valley. Talfurk was mustering his army at Karak Azung and preparing for a battle there.
Battlefield
The rocky valley that separated Riknor Krudner was a major battlefield seeing many skirmishes before a major battle. The rocky terrain and hills slowed the armies down and made fighting harder.
The Engagement

Minor battles/skirmishes: Occupation of Vannel Friggin, Battle of Lunder's Bend, Many others without name or of little importance
Outcome
Riknor-A-Krudner forced to relenquish Vallem Friggin. Riknor-A-Skrudner forced to pay heavy reparations. The Rik of Riknor-A-Krudner is humiliated. The Grudge declared by Duke Talfurk Gotryk is settled. Dork Druknor-An-Azung gains independence with Druknor-A-Vinki and Druknor-A-Kala as vassals.
Aftermath
The vassals of Riknor-A-Krudner rebel for independence and to take the throne of Krudner. A war ensues between the remnants of Krudner and the vassals. Druks want to take after Duke Talfurk Gotryk and lead rebellions leading to a series of revolts in other kingdoms.
