Duke Talfurk Gotryk
Duke, Lord of War Gotryk (a.k.a. The Bastion)
A rebellious and ambitious Duke who settled Grudges, took back what was his, and most importantly, radically reformed the Dwagi military and society. Known best for his Bastions (A lot like a Roman Legion) he also brought about the more common use of Grudges. His greedy King took the land that his Father worked so hard to cultivate, Talfurk was done with excuses and declared rebellion.

General Physical Condition
Quick for a Dwagi, he was an exceptional combatant and a genius tactician. As fit as any other Dwagi, as tall as most Dwagi.

He never braided his hair like many Dwagi do. He let it flow free.

He had a scar going across his face from when he was injured in battle against Orcs.

Personal history
Early Life
Talfurk was born during his grandfathers reign. Only 2 years after his birth his Grandfather died, ambushed by rebelling Orcs in the newly conquered valley near to Karak Azung. Talfurk's father then taught him a valuable lesson that Talfurk would take with him till the day he died. Talfurk's father told him:
When someone wrongs you, you must right this wrong, in one way or another. The valley Orcs have rebelled and killed my Father, I shall repay them in kind.Talfurk's father then marched into the valley crushed the rebellion and either killed any orc that didn't have the brains to move out of his way. Talfurk's father then made it his goal to bring development and power to the valley naming it after himself Vallem Friggin. Talfurk saw this and took after it in every way; when another Dwagi child beat him ina fight, he trained until he could come back and defeat him; when someone mocked him and insulted him, he would challenge them to a fight. Talfurk would keep track of all these transgressions in a book. He called it his Grudge book. As he settled grudges he would mark them out, and write in new ones to be settled.
Accomplishments & Achievements
He was the first Dwagi to create a large organized, disciplined military. He also did away with the levy system and installed a new conscripted/volunteer army. Created the district system to better manage his Fortress, this allowed for the people int he districts to better represent themselves and their concerns.
He defeated Lord Rolmus at The Second Battle of Trentus. He defeated his own King and took back his ancestral lands.
Failures & Embarrassments
Defeat by Lord Rolmus at The First Battle of Trentus. The title of Vallem Thriggin was revoked and given to the King's son as punishment for his defeat, he also had to pay the compensation to Lord Rlmus.
Mental Trauma
Developed depression in his latter years.
Intellectual Characteristics
A master tactician, he was well versed in politics as well. He developed many new strategies still used by the Dwagi today.
