Leo'adeptum, Infamous blade of Charlemagne

Hero or villain they are one in the same when it comes to the name, Charlemagne. Returning home from an adventure to find his home in ruin, his daughter and wife strewn about, but no killer in sight. Mark's of the leosyn left upon the ground led Charlemagne to the culprit who was found gorged and sleeping. It could've been quick but revenge takes time. Even with the killer killed Charlemagne still had murder on his mind. His family was taken from him, he must do the same. Charlemagne went to Kardava in search of a smith who could create a weapon that reflected his rage. The giant requested nothing in return as the fame of his craftmanship would be reward enough. And there, deep beneath the Kardava mountains, in the eye of Ur, a blade of black crystal was forged in the heat of an infernal vortex that would consume any metal. The blade resembled the heart of the wielder, and as Charlemagne gripped the accursed handle a single glitter appeared in the blade.   His slaughter was only meant to take a few dozen lives but as he killed, his bloodlust grew and so did the glitters in his blade. More joined his cause as they thought it was a justified cleansing of a foe they long fought, in the end any and all survivors of the leosyn race had been hunted and purged. Where the genocide ended was a new beginning as the city of Lionshield was founded. Charlemagne felt his bloodlust subside, but the blade was not yet satiated and urged him to kill more. The temptation was driving him to the brink of insanity, forcing his mind to repeat the countless massacres he had committed. With is last moments of clarity he scrawled out one final letter before fleeing into the wilderness of the pride-lands. Charlemagne's horse was later found dead in the wood next to his armor, but Charlemagne and the infamous blade were never seen again.
