Eslenid Dynasty

The Eslenid Dynasty is the birthplace of mages and mageocracy. Originally hailed as the Birthplace of Arcana, the Eslenid pride themselves on their innovation and motivation to pursue and learn more about both natural and unnatural worlds. Of course, the pursuit of power and intelligence is a double-edged sword as sometimes, curiosity turns to obsession, and obsession turns to madness as mages have grown mad with greed and power like once had. 
However, not all those who studied the arcane ended up like Tenoe, and notable mages like Archmages Reineld and Zebta helped develop fundamental technology when the world was rebuilding itself Post-Containment. Together with the first walkers and other races, they helped construct the first magical leylines to harness Kothao's magic and through the invention of leyline pipes, were able to not only aid the eslenid, but also aide other settlements and land masses on Kothao. 
Now the Eslenid Dynasty, specifically Perser">Perser is the home of arcane development and is the center of magical innovation. Within Perser as well is the School of Magical Development, the most esteemed college for the arcane gifted to hone their craft.
