The Goddess of life and light, without Sarandel the world would be a dark lifeless husk. Sarandel is the youngest of all the gods, and usually the most optimistic, bringing a sunny view to any discussion. Able to create any form of life at will, she is the "mother" of all life in the universe. However, she is not the best teacher much to her dismay. This causes many of her creations to be simple and lack any form of intelligence, requiring the help of Ascot to help evolve them. Her biggest dream is to have a creation she can fully consider her own, to prove herself to her friends.

Personal history

Born during the old universe, Sarandel was one of the original scientists working on bringing world peace among humans. When the cataclysm occurred though, everything changed. The universe fell, she and her friend's bodies were ripped apart to the bare atoms, and then she woke in the carnage of what they'd caused. No longer human, Sarandel had ascended to something more.
Now a god, Sarandel assisted her friends in rebuilding the universe from scratch, populating the world with life. However, she was only able to create life, not give it any intelligence, a role which Ascot took over. Once the Darklings were discovered, the other gods agreed to give Humans the power and knowledge to fight back. However, they chose not to directly involve themselves anymore, in fear of what had happened before. Following this decision, the gods and her retreated into the shadows, fading into myth, though she wasn't as satisfied with this idea as the others were.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Creation of Kostea through a joint effort with her friends. Sarandel is also responsible for the creation of the Lightlings, though this was more through a happy accident than true skill, much to her disappointment.

Failures & Embarrassments

The creator of the Lightlings in the old universe, Sarandel performed many attempts to create life in the old universe, though nearly all ended up failing in various ways, upsetting her.

Sarandel tends to avoid talking about the old world, and the accident that destroyed it.

Always curious and eager to learn, Sarandel doesn't possess as many skills as her friends, but she is constantly looking for one that she can claim fully as her own.
