Humans in Kostea exist similarly to those in real life, with a few notable difference. Humans in Kostea can live up to a recorded age of 244 real years old, in account for Kostea years counting as two of real life's. Humans in Kostea age twice as slow however,making a 14 year old in real life the same as a 14 year old in Kostea,despite the year difference.
Most humans in Kostea have the potential to gain powers that have a wide variety, from pyromancy to gravity manipulation. Powers in Kostea also differ in rarity, with some being much more common than others. Not everyone has to,or does, harness this potential. Gaining powers is much like riding a bike, where as everyone can learn to gain them, not everyone chooses to. Not unlocking abilities has no ill affect on ones life span or overall quality, though some powers can give slight advantages.

In addition to Staza, humans also produce a nutrient called Teccyde, which is used as food and energy by the Staza cells. While it is not known how exactly how Staza can grant humans the variety of abilities, humans who have been afflicted with Adton do not naturally create Staza in their bodies, or the associated Teccyde that is also needed.

Humans are highly adaptable and intelligent. This allows them to eat many different things, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, and meats. Human living conditions have improved with the development of architecture, science, and technology. Starting out as simple tents and huts, humanity has now built massive cities and other habitats all over the planet.

Humans are the most intelligent known species in Kostea. They have the ability of speech, adaptation and the ability to learn in order to survive in any form of environment.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
All Humans have hearing, sight, touch and taste. While nearly all humans have the potential to use and have abilities, not everyone uses or develops these potentials further, rendering them as nothing more then a regular human. Those who take the time and effort to further develop their abilities have a wide ranged of powers that can aid them in their daily life.
