Celeste

Goddess of the Physical Universe.

The Goddesses of all aspects of the universe that can be considered apart of the physical realm. Air, water, rock, metals, and even radiation all fall under her domain in some way. She is the universe, and the universe is her. The only member of the Kostean Pantheon to not keep her original name, Celeste named herself after space, her favorite region of the universe. Her old name has been lost to the ages, even to herself. Her brother Azura controls the metaphysical aspects of the universe, primarily dreams and thoughts.

Physical Description

Body Features

Eyes of swirling snow and fire, hair of the earth, and body of the night sky. Celeste's godly body is formed after the universe itself, with universal elements found in all aspects. Not one to be shy, she does not have a secondary form to appear before humans in, taking delight in sticking out from others.

Special abilities

Celeste is the physical universe as the physical universe is Celeste. Holding nigh total control over it, with a touch of her hand water can turn to stone, ice to lava, air to gold. If it has any form of matter or energy in it, even on a molecular level, it is within her realm. Even space, the seemingly empty void of everything, is within her grasp due to the radiation and other elements that make up the otherwise seemingly empty void. If you've ever flipped a coin and had it land perfectly on its edge, chances are Celeste's is making subtle changes in the universe and has affected that coin, though whether or not she messed with your coin on purpose is up to you to decide. The only limit to her power is to drastically change living things, as this falls under the domain of another...

Personal history

Always fascinated with the universe and how it interacted, the woman who would become Celeste was a member of the group of scientists from the old universe. She would spend countless hours performing various experiments, changing small aspects of the world around her to see how it affected the world at large.Though on that fateful day, when the universe fell, her life changed forever.    Awakening in a universe torn to shreds, partially by her actions, the woman was no longer human. Along with her friends, she had ascended to godhood. Saddened by the destruction wrought upon the world, where logic and physics were rendered pointless, and where the very physical nature of everything was being changed like a fluid in motion, she chose to take responsibility for fixing it. Taking inspiration from her favorite aspect of the universe, the stars, the woman cast away her old identity and became Celeste, the Goddess of the physical realm.  She and her friends built a new universe from the ashes, with Celeste in charge of making it interact in just the right way. Her curiosity with the natural world still strong, she restored much of it to what it had been while leaving enough for her to mold to her own liking.   With the universe made, and she and her friends retreating from it to fade away into myth willingly, Celeste never gave up her experiments. Continuing to change and play with the world she had made, she never openly interfered with humanity  directly.  Though some may argue that her actions have continued to affect it, even if it cant be proved...
