The number of dragons finally dwindled until the other mortal races could overpower them. The race of mortals were united under the banner of Alexander Cruxan I, who lead the charge against them in the name of his god, Theandros.   Alexander gathered together the various races of humans, elves, dwarves, and orcs in a desperate fight against the dragons. He united them under the banner of his god Theandros, who he was certain would deliver him to victory over the tyrannical draconic Lords. Finally, after many years of fighting, the last of the dragons fled into exile in the Purian Wastes of Samayaris.   The reign of dragons was over, and a new era in history had begun.
