Samayaris

Samayaris is the center-most continent of Kos and is home to a variety of races: humans, elves, orcs, Nagaji, Kitsune, and Wolfkin. The terrain is as varied as the people, and there are an endless number of hidden and ancient secrets within the plains, mountains, tundras, and deserts. Samayaris, as a central landmass, is highly desired by the Church for purposes of launching their crusades further across Kos. It is, however, also home to a diverse array of cults, each worshiping a tribal pantheon, typically revolving around the 7 Arch-Gods.

Geography

Samayaris is surrounded on all sides by ocean. To the west are beautiful forests, the largest of which is the Aechaen Forest. The continent is divided down the middle by the Oran Mountain range, and is divided cross-wise by the Rialta River. To the north of the mountains is a large wasteland of snow and volcanic ash, and to the east are the Junda Plains. Southwest lies the barren Daktan Valley desert. Farther east lies the lifeless isle of Ral'Atam, which no one has visited for thousands of years, and is believed to be a cursed land.

Fauna & Flora

The flora and wildlife of Samayaris is varied. There are dragons, griffins, and unicorns. There are bears, lions, and ravens. There are pine trees and swampy reeds, as well as bone-reeds, blood leaf, mold spores, and more.

Natural Resources

Wood from the Aechaen forest is of legendary strength. To the north is Eonudat, a crystalline ice that never melts and is as hard as diamond. Farmers typically raise cows and swine, though chickens are also common. Iron is the most common metal used for tools, though Pure Meld Steel from the norhern volcanoes is highly sought after.

Gnona
The city of Gnona is filled with magical wonders and mechanical mysteries. Gnona is controlled by the mysterious Court of Owls, the rich and elite who oppress the poor and powerless. The city is divided up into several districts, and only those worthy are granted entrance into the Red districts.
