The Seven Harbingers
Near the top of the Cult's hierarchy are the seven Harbingers, who act as servants and emissaries of Aghasdagg's will. There are seven Harbingers in all:
- The Harbinger of Truth The Harbinger of Sorrow The Harbinger of Pain The Harbinger of Suffering The Harbinger of Reckoning The Harbinger of Wrath The Harbinger of Sanguine
Appointment
The Seven Harbingers are appointed by Aghasddag himself, as spoken through his Mouth, Nazzyd.
Duties
Harbingers are given important tasks by the Mouth himself, and are sent all over the world to do whatever Aghasddag commands. They can be tasked with anything from simple evangelization, to leading armies, to looking for important artifacts. What the Mouth Speaks, the Harbingers do.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Harbingers may only be removed by accusation of Heresy. In such a case, a Harbinger is brought before the Mouth, who gives a judgement on the accusation.
If a charge of heresy is sustained, the Harbingers face immediate execution, and a replacement is chosen.
