The White Woods

The White Woods are a region in which the Nuar is almost non-existant. The spiritual energy suffusing the zone has turned both the leaves and bark of the trees white and has left the forest shrouded in perpetual mist. According to legend, the maruthar known as the Pale Queen lives in the White Woods. Those who enter this forest are rarely seen again, and the few who have returned tell the story of wandering blindly through the mist while being stalked incessantly by rek-haur, the huge, white cats who serve The Pale Queen.
