Citadel

The ancient city known as the Citadel is the capital of the The White Circle. It, along with Tarn, are the only continuously inhabited cities dating back to the First Age. The citadel is surrounded by a twenty-meter-high stone wall coated in white plaster. The hundred-and-fifty-meter-high spire known as the White Tower is the heart of the Citadel. Located in the center of the city, the tower is where the conclave meets to organize the nation's affairs.

Architecture

The Citadel is laid out along a grid of streets running north-south and east-west. The streets are lined with five-story tenements, parks, and plazas. A series of aquaducts and pipes provide water to all buildings and a network of sewers connect provide all homes with sanitation. Buildings are coated in white plaster and topped with sloping, red-shingle roofs. An abandoned subway system connects all parts of the city, however without spell-rock from Thraneveld the trains are inoperative, and the entrances have been sealed.
