Spitting Wart Rose

The Spitting Wart Rose gets it's name after it was found to cause the condition Rose Wart. This bush is found in the less explored area surrounding Swamp Pit. Preferring a warmer, wetter climate. While this rose is odd due to it's monochromatic green hue, the most interesting thing that may draw someone in is the beautiful white "Pearl " looking pod nestled in the middle. Those not familiar with the this fauna can easily find themselves in a unfortunate situation if they decide to pluck these pearls and play with them. While looking all to innocent, these pearls are nothing but. The Wart Rose Pearl themselves are not completely hard, they have a outer shell, and it's contents are under quite high pressure. If someone squeezes one of these pearls they violently burst and spread this fluid everywhere. If this fluid comes in contact with skin, the condition is caused Rose Wart. Large nasty warts will soon sprout from any contacted area.

Anatomy

The Spitting Wart Rose is a flower that grows from a bush. Being found more often in larger clusters than alone. The flower itself is strange as it could be mistaken as a weed at first glance, the entire makeup of the rose is a light green color, even the bud and flower once in bloom. The flower contains a small white Pearl inside of the center of the rose. this pearl is roughly 1 inch in diameter. The Bush this rose grows from is the same green hue all around. It hold many small broad spear shaped leaves during season, although this bush will turn brown and loose it's leaves in colder winter months.

Growth Rate & Stages

The growth rate of this bush is quite rapid. Growing from a single sprout, to it's fully matured size (4-5 feet wide and tall) in roughly 3 years. Although it only grows, and sprouts buds as the temperature rises in the summer seasons.

This bush and it's flower seems to thrive in swamp conditions. It prefers a warm humid climate.

Biological Cycle

This bush growth cycles change drastically depending on the climate and temperature. During the warm summer season, it can grow rapidly, and will sprout it's buds, and the buds will blossom to flowers. The winter month's, depending how harsh have the possibility of killing this plant all together, even a mild winter, you may see this bush loose all of it's leaves and turn brown in color.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

The rose from this bush itself in non-edible. It lacks real nutrition and has an awful bitter taste. Nestled inside of the middle of the rose is a small white "Pearl" looking pod, called a Wart Rose Pearl .This pod is slightly firm, but if squeezed to hard it will burst violently, expelling it's excrements everywhere. The fluid inside this pod causes Rose Wart, a hideous condition causing massive warts to grow on the skin.

The spitting rose wart bush is often found in the wetland or swamp regions. This flower was first discovered at Swamp Pit where the largest amount of these bushes and flowers can be found.
