Mel, accompanied by her companions, ventures into the catacombs of Calpi under the command of Puava. They discover an ancient vault beneath the city dedicated to Puava, where Mel retrieves a series of three clay tablets titled "Pamaŕbilum Accaccum dagqon Eŕusor Viaŕtea" ("The Arcane Strictures of the Mystical Mistress"). After a tense exchange with Fiena and Kalpa, Hyru leaves. Finally, Mel gives the tablets to an old human bard named Selepcius in the city.
