As the Book Club continues their northward journey, now driven by a new purpose, they stumble upon a grim scene: the bodies of six dragonborns. Their heads have been severed and mounted on spears by the roadside. At the base of each spear lie their deliberately shattered weapons, while their headless bodies have been carelessly discarded at the road's edge. DeAth identifies two of the fallen as Paladins of Acher and another two as their squires. The adventurers ensure the dead are honored before resuming their journey with solemn determination.
