Coping With Hyru's Departure

Upon discovering that Hyru has departed, the Fated Faction struggles with the loss, each in their own (often dysfunctional) way.
Eventually, they visit the wizard Etivius Alquonius Tibusius, who scries on Hyru in return for the chance to speak with Kalpa alone. At first, uncomfortably, with the level of scrutiny, Kalpa ends the interaction by offering the wizard a part of his body - his hand- and earns permanent contact.
The party hires a ranger named Allbun, who is disagreeable, to put it mildly, but the group sets off along the road to the East.
