Sænogh

In Lysælfen realms, on the rare occasions that a regent is required to rule until their child is old enough to assume the throne (usually the heir's 100th birthday), that regent bears the title Sænogh. They retain the title for life, but lose the authority upon the heir's ascension to the throne.

Appointment

When a regent is required, X'Rell manifests and anoints the new Sænogh, thus providing an impramatur of divine authority.
