The Aedrith Verul are an elven organization dedicated to the expulsion of humans from Kordoth based out of the Wynwood. They are a secret organization who hides their activities even from their fellow elves (who condemn their actions). They believe that humas are a pestilance inflicted upon them by Ukius for getting away from their deep roots with nature.
They zealously guard the Wynwood from intruders with the notable exception of hunters from Hunter's Edge. If a new homestead is set up near the forest or within it a posse of Aedrith Verul will attack and murder the inhabitants leaving their bodies out for other humans to find. They are ruthless but not overly cruel.
The Elves of the Wynwood disapprove of their actions but generally not go out of their way to locate and punish members. However when a member is undeniably discovered to be a member they will exile them from the Wynwood. A few Elven hermits living in Blue Fern Swamp are such exiles.
They look down upon their Elven bretheren from Tanglewood who they view as corrupted by civilization. It is a central tenant of the Aedrith Verul that the Elves downfall from dominance came about as a result of their decadence and loss of true faith in Ukius.
