Rimestone

Rimestone is a Material found exclusively on the continent of Koleris, where it exists both as a trace element in the local rocks, but it can also be found natively especially around the Blacklakes in the region.  It has the unique ability to dampen or fully prohibit the use magic, and rooms where all wall and ceiling contain Rimestone are impervious to magic.  The rich and powerful will often have secure Sanctums consisting of Rimestone inorder to keep people from Listening in with magical means.  Materials impregnated with large amounts of Rimestone can protect the user and weaken the effect of Cast Magic.
