Story Items

When the characters search an area and there isn’t anything of value, you can still want to reward them with an item that gives them clues about the world in which they adventure. The Story Item Search table provides items meant to help build your campaign world and advance the game’s story. They may not be of any physical value to PCs, but they tell a story. The description of the items is meant to inspire. Their stories are yours to extrapolate.
