Defeat of the Ardraxxian Circle

Somewhere near the northern border of Kormyre, four mighty demons were summoned, who called themselves the Ardraxxian Circle. These demons had a plan to set in motion creation a home for themselves in the area and use it as a means to corrupt and control the Kingdom from within. It was at the hands of the sorcerer twins, Saelis and Vargas Meltin, that the demons were imprisoned in that location, foiling their plans.

The demons all had distinct powers they used to enact their plans. Volgarax was capable of twisting the natural world and blighting the flora. Tan'Ivrax influenced the minds of its victims, driving them to madness. Sinevrax was a voidshaper who fueled their abyssal creations with the souls of the living. And finally, the leader of the cabal, Neverax, was a master of drawing the evil out of the hearts of his victims, causing them to perform unspeakable acts to aid his goals.   The demons had been summoned by a vile demonologist, Palier Arfontura, who executed after he was discovered for his evil ways. After their summoner was slain, the demons were free to act of their own volition, and Palier's own family and followers chose to then serve the demons.   The twin sorcerers had learned of the demons and set out to defeat them, though their power was simply to great and they could not banish them. By their combined magical prowess, the twins did manage to seal the demons away, at a great cost to their own lives.
